Worm Gearboxes
PGR Drive Technologies’ worm gear gearboxes offer quiet, vibration-free, and reliable power transmission for systems with low torque and steady loads. Thanks to their compact and modern housing design, they provide space-saving and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
With a 90° shaft arrangement, these gearboxes can be mounted via foot or flange using a single-piece housing. The rigid structure supports efficient heat dissipation and extended durability.
Available with various input options (PAM B5, PAM B14) and adaptable output alternatives (solid shaft, hollow shaft), they are easy to integrate into diverse drive systems. Optional accessories such as torque arms and B5/B14 flanges provide flexible installation.
Worms are made of high-durability 16MnCr5 case-hardened steel, while gears are produced from CuSn12Ni-C bronze, ensuring excellent wear resistance. Housings are manufactured from ADC-12 aluminum up to size 105, and GG 20-25 cast iron for larger sizes—offering both lightness and strength.
All systems comply with ISO, DIN, and NIEMANN standards, and are equipped with premium-quality bearings and sealing components. Customer-specific solutions can also be developed upon request.
