PGR Drive Technologies' PEX series gearboxes offer powerful and durable solutions developed especially for single and twin screw extruder systems where high axial and radial forces are effective. With its robust ductile iron (GGG 50-60) housing and wide bond range, it provides maximum performance even under harsh production conditions.
The PEX series is available in 12 different body sizes, with 2 or 3 stages.

The 3-stage models are available with a choice of 10 to 50 gear ratios.
The large distance between the input and output shafts makes it possible to easily mount equipment such as electric motors and drums. The gears are forged from high-strength 21NiCrMo2 carburizing steel, ensuring long life operation.
The PEX series is specially equipped with E series “294” bearings to meet the axial load of the extruder screw. The system also utilizes high quality bearings and sealing elements to increase durability.
With its engineering design in accordance with ISO, DIN and NIEMANN standards, PEX series gearboxes are preferred with confidence in demanding industrial applications. Project-based solutions can also be developed in line with customer-specific demands.
