Equipped with cycloid gear technology, the PCD series gearboxes are an innovative solution for industrial applications looking for compact construction, a high gear ratio, small size and superior reliability. Unlike conventional gearbox systems, in this series the drive elements roll on top of each other to transmit motion, which offers the advantage of reduced friction, longer life and quieter operation.
Ideal for machine building and automation systems, the PCD series is suitable for compact system requirements with its coaxial input-output structure. It provides ease of installation with foot, flange or direct body connection options. Its rigid body is optimized for both mechanical strength and heat transfer.
Available with shaft output, this gearbox series ensures safe operation with strength calculations in accordance with DIN, ISO and NIEMANN standards. Input options include motor coupled, PAM, W and C-face connection alternatives. Bodies are made of GG25 and disks are made of high strength 100 Cr6 material.
It can be adapted to different system designs with horizontal and vertical mounting positions. The lubrication system is optimized as grease or oil bath depending on the body type. In addition, customer-specific production requirements can be responded to flexibly.
